This artwork starts when the butterflies from Flutter of Butterflies Beyond Borders enter the Light Sculpture space.

Flutter of Butterflies Beyond Borders is a group of butterflies born from other artworks, such as those from the Butterfly House. These butterflies free art from the notion of frames, transcending the boundaries of the artworks as they fly seamlessly through the works.

The butterflies depicted by intersecting rays of light fly around the space in three dimensions If people touch the butterflies, they disappear.

The artwork ends when the butterflies fly out of the Light Sculpture space and into other spaces outside. It also ends when all of the butterflies disappear.
